Who are we?

Present

We are UMW’s one and only Squirrel Club. We are dedicated to observing squirrels 24/7. Forget about classes and start squirrel-watching today. Members only have to pay $100 a semester to ensure our squirrels are only fed the finest dining. No peanuts for our squirrels.

History

The Idea

Founded in 2023, the squirrel club started when the Great Squirrel Watcher was sitting on the steps to the UC, watching squirrels as they were prone to do. They were thinking about how great it would be to share their love of the great squirrels.

Next Steps

The next few steps were an uphill battle. True lovers of squirrels were hard to find. Eventually, the Great Squirrel Watcher managed to track enough true squirrel enthusiasts down to start the club.

Finding a Professor

Finding a professor to sponsor the Squirrel Watching Club was the easiest part of starting the club. Dr. Littlefluff, who specializes in squirrel studies at the university, was more than happy to support the club. She even gives her students extra credit for paying the $10 to attend one of the Squirrel Club’s meetings.

Founder is Lost

Sadly the founder, the Great Squirrel Watcher, recently ran off to live with squirrels, sending the club into disorder. Hopefully, we should find the Great Squirrel Watcher soon.

How to get in Touch?

Are you interested in getting involved with our organization? If so, you can contact our founder, the Great Squirrel Watcher. Sadly, we lost the Great Squirrel Watcher when they ran off to join the squirrels, so we can’t accept new members at this time until we figure out what to do about this. However, we would appreciate you finding the Great Squirrel Watcher.
